The Three C’s of Success [Part 1 of 3]

Welcome to Part 1 of 3

We all want success in life. Some people seem to be able to make things happen while others struggle. What makes the difference?

There are many factors involved but in my experience, it can be reduced to three simple concepts:

Commitment:  More people fail due to a lack of commitment than any other reason. This is why commitment is the first C for success. If you are not fully committed to your success, no matter what else you do, it will not last. Are you ready to commit to your success? A great place to begin is by knowing your level of commitment:

Levels of Commitment

  1. “I don’t want to and you can’t make me”
  2. “I want to but it’s too hard”
  3. “I’ll try”
  4. “I’ll do it”
  5. “I’ll do whatever it takes”

You will notice that levels 1, 2, or 3 are not true commitments. Many will argue that level 3 is, but if you are being honest, “I’ll try” still gives you an out. The only true commitments are at levels 4 or 5. When you are ready to do whatever it takes, then things change.

Which level are you? If you are not there already, what will it take to move you to levels 4 or 5?

Are you ready to make a commitment to your success and want to stay there? Working with a coach will make all the difference. You can do it alone but only for a while. Eventually, you will need help and guidance to stay the course. Working with someone increases your success by as much as 85%!
